Ragin Cajun shrimp


    Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 2lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    • 2 Tbl Najo Spice Ragin' Cajun seasoning 
    • 2 Tbl butter 
    • 2 garlic cloves smashed 
    • Lemon wedges to garnish 

    Directions

    1. Dry shrimp with paper towels. 
    2. In a bowl add the shrimp and Najo Ragin' Cajun spice blend and toss to coat evenly.
    3. Prepare a large skillet to fit all shrimp and remember not to overcrowd the skillets. 
    4. Place skillets over medium-high heat and  melt the butter. Then add in the garlic.
    5. Add the shrimp leaving enough space between shrimp for even cooking. 
    6. Cook for 3-5 minutes turning occasionally or until shrimp is opaque and cooked thoroughly.
    7. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves. 

    Prep time 5 mins cook time 10 mins

    Chef notes:

    Use leftover shrimp as an addition to salads, cooked rice, eggs or slice to garnish soups.

    Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days
